What started as a small mobile grooming operation in 2018 has grown into a comprehensive pet care service trusted by hundreds of Australian families. Founded by lifelong animal enthusiast Rachel Nguyen, beam-fortress was built on the belief that every pet deserves attentive, personalised care.
After years working in veterinary clinics and witnessing the anxiety many pets experience during routine care, Rachel assembled a team focused on low-stress handling and genuine connection with each animal. That philosophy remains central to everything we do.
Today, we operate from a purpose-built facility in Sydney while maintaining the personal touch that defined our early days. We know your pets by name, remember their preferences, and treat them as the family members they are.

Our Facility
Our Sydney location was designed with pets in mind. The grooming area features non-slip surfaces, adjustable tables, and specialised equipment for different coat types and sizes. Temperature is maintained year-round for comfort.
The boarding section provides individual sleeping quarters, separate areas for dogs and cats, and an enclosed outdoor space for supervised play. We maintain strict cleaning protocols and require vaccination records for all guests.
Every corner of our space prioritises safety without sacrificing comfort. From the moment your pet arrives until pickup, they are in a secure, monitored environment.
